The Bighorn River flows out the Yellowtail Dam in Southern Montana. It's pretty remote out there and cell coverage is sketchy at best. But the trout are big and plenty. Unfortunately there are plenty anglers and the weekend we were there it topped 100 degrees. Some of us camped while others brought luxury accommodations with them. We also fished the Stillwater River, a tributary of the Yellowstone, near Columbus, MT and a great little river up in the high mountain meadows of the Bighorn Mountains called The North Fork of the Tongue. Beautiful fish and pretty meadow fishing with a lot fewer anglers. For a while at least. No photos unfortunately for I left the camera in the truck. It snowed that day too. Quite the temp swing from the Saturday before.
